Tourists Get Clarity as Baku Airport Rolls Out Fixed-Price Taxis

A new fixed-fare taxi terminal has opened at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, ending ad-hoc pricing and haggling at arrivals.

According to Baku.ws, the system posts transparent, standardized tariffs for routes to downtown and major hotels, with prices shown in manats and U.S. dollars. Queues have shortened, dispatching is more orderly, and electronic payment is now available.
