The average monthly nominal wage of salaried employees in Baku reached 1,375.4 manats in the first half of 2025, according to the city’s Statistics Department, cited by Report.
Compared with January–June 2024, the figure reflects an 8.4 percent increase.

For Azerbaijan overall, the average monthly nominal wage stood at 1,097.3 manats in the same period, up 9.4 percent year-on-year.
The data highlight the continuing wage gap between the capital and the rest of the country, with salaries in Baku outpacing the national average by more than 25 percent.
