The chairman of the National-Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis in Moscow, Bakhtiyar Hasanov, has been deprived of Russian citizenship, according to the Readovka Telegram channel, as reported by Oxu.Az.
Authorities linked the decision to Hasanov’s alleged involvement in shadow schemes, including activities connected to illegal migration and smuggling.

Russian media note that Hasanov’s name has surfaced multiple times in connection with controversial business projects and partnerships.
He had reportedly obtained a Russian passport in the early 2000s.
