A literary and musical evening dedicated to renowned Azerbaijani poetess Khurshidbanu Natavan was held in the French capital with the support of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in France.

The event gathered French journalists, scholars, and invited guests, alongside Azerbaijan’s ambassador to France, Leyla Abdullayeva.

In her opening remarks, Abdullayeva underlined Natavan’s enduring place in Azerbaijani literature and national memory. She also recalled how French writer Alexandre Dumas, after his 1858 journey to the Caucasus, described with admiration the cultural richness of Karabakh.

The evening featured recitations of Natavan’s poetry in both Azerbaijani and French, accompanied by a musical program performed by well-known artists.
