The article’s author shares impressions from a visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, highlighting local dishes and agricultural products.
The report emphasizes that Azerbaijani cuisine offers a rich variety of traditional dishes made from fresh local ingredients.
The author particularly mentions the traditional dish dolma, the “Albalı” salad – a combination of cherries, tomatoes, red onions, and basil, the refreshing drink Ayran, Ordubad-style scrambled eggs, and tea with jam.
The article also notes that Azerbaijan’s unique tea culture was included in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2022.
