Azerbaijan Global Media Group (AGMG) was founded by Elnur Baimov, former Publisher of National Geographic Azerbaijan and National Geographic Kids Azerbaijan, a media entrepreneur with 25+ years in cross-platform journalism — from FM radio to some of the country’s largest digital platforms.

This project is entirely independent. It is not connected to any government or political structure — in Azerbaijan or abroad. Our aim is to create a global, multilingual media platform that serves people first: readers, communities, and the diaspora.

We publish in six languages — English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, and Turkish — to connect regional developments with global audiences, breaking language and geographic barriers.

Funding Transparency

At present, AGMG is financed solely through the personal resources of its founder. We are not funded by any government, foreign NGO, or private entity. This ensures full editorial independence and freedom of voice. As the network grows, we may seek financial support — through advertising, sponsorships, or grants — to cover the expenses of building and maintaining a leading, mainstream media project. Any future funding will be disclosed transparently.
