Azerbaijani doctor tapped to lead top Frankfurt OB-GYN clinic

Frankfurt’s Hospital zum Heiligen Geist has appointed Dr. Hayal Gasimli, MD, PhD, as Chief Physician of Obstetrics and Gynecology effective September.

Dr. Gasimli will retain his post as Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at University Hospital Frankfurt, where he treats gynecologic oncology patients – including robot-assisted surgeries – and pursues research and teaching as an associate professor.

The dual role underscores Gasimli’s expanding clinical and academic footprint in Germany’s women’s health sector.
