Azerbaijan is moving into electric transport production with a new bus assembly project.
Local company Improtex Group and Germany’s MAN Truck & Bus signed an agreement in Baku to assemble electric buses, in a deal reached during the inaugural Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF-2025).

The signing ceremony was attended by Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov. Officials say the initiative is aimed at boosting the development of eco-friendly public transport and expanding the country’s electric bus fleet.
