The British Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Fergus Auld, has voiced deep concern over recent incidents involving Azerbaijanis in Russia.
“We are deeply troubled by the events affecting Azerbaijanis in Russia,” Auld wrote on his account on the platform X (formerly Twitter).
“We extend our condolences to the families of those killed and stand in solidarity with the people of Azerbaijan during this difficult time. We also express our support for Azerbaijan’s efforts to ensure justice is served,” the ambassador added.
