Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke by phone on November 14 with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev following a new Russian missile strike that again damaged Azerbaijan’s embassy compound in Kyiv.
Zelensky condemned the attack and voiced “serious concern” over the repeated strikes on the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission.
Aliyev, for his part, also denounced the incident, saying that attacks on embassies are unacceptable under international law and violate the basic norms that protect diplomatic missions.

During the conversation, Zelensky thanked Azerbaijan for its continued humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
