UAE Delegation in Baku for Strategic Military Consultations

Representatives of several government institutions of the United Arab Emirates have completed a working visit to Azerbaijan, where the two sides held consultations on defense and security cooperation.

According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, the delegation met with officials at the Ministry’s Department for International Military Cooperation, where both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral ties across military and related fields.

During the meeting, the parties highlighted the steady growth of UAE–Azerbaijan defense relations, emphasizing the importance of reciprocal visits, joint exercises, and structured exchanges aimed at strengthening interoperability and sharing operational experience.

The Emirati delegation was also briefed on the 44-day Patriotic War, the post-war regional security landscape, and recent developments along Azerbaijan’s borders. Officials provided detailed answers to the visitors’ questions regarding regional dynamics and Azerbaijan’s defense priorities.

The discussions concluded with a comprehensive exchange of views on future cooperation, including potential new training programs, technical collaboration, and broader security initiatives between the two countries.
