The U20 European Wrestling Championships continue in Caorle, Italy.
According to the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, medalists were determined today in the Greco-Roman 60kg, 67kg, 72kg, 82kg, and 97kg weight categories.
Aykhan Javadov (60kg) became European champion after defeating Sweden’s Adam Silveri in the final on criteria (1:1), earning the win by scoring the last point.

Faraim Mustafayev (67kg) secured a bronze medal with a hard-fought 7:5 victory over Turkey’s Abdullah Keskin.
Seymur Gasimov (72kg) lost 1:3 to Greece’s Arionas Kolitsopoulos in the bronze medal match, finishing in 5th place.
Elmin Aliyev (82kg) claimed bronze after dominating Serbia’s Ognjen Jakovljevic with a technical superiority win (10:0).
