Two Azerbaijani Wrestlers Claim Bronze at U-20 World Championships in Bulgaria

Azerbaijan’s freestyle wrestling team celebrated two bronze medals at the U-20 World Championships in Samokov, Bulgaria.

In the 70 kg weight class, Nurlan Agazade defeated Georgia’s Goga Otinashvili with a convincing 4:0 victory in the bronze medal bout.

Meanwhile, in the 125 kg category, Yusuf Dursunov secured Azerbaijan’s second medal by overcoming his French opponent with a 3:1 scoreline.

The tournament runs through August 24, with more Azerbaijani wrestlers still in contention.
