WASHINGTON, July 22 — U.S. President Donald Trump has acknowledged that he may travel to China in the near future at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Speaking during a meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the White House, Trump revealed the potential trip, saying:
“President Xi Jinping has invited me to visit China, and we will likely do that in the near future.”
