Baku, August 28, 2025 — Azerbaijan’s State Social Protection Fund has addressed widespread public questions regarding the conditions under which targeted social assistance (TSA) may be discontinued.

  • Property gifts: If a family receives a house or apartment, and it is not their only residence.

  • Vehicle gifts: If the family is given a car.

  • Death of the family representative who applied for TSA.

  • Unclaimed funds: If the social aid is not withdrawn from the family’s card account for two consecutive months.

  • Other relevant changes in circumstances that may affect the amount or eligibility for aid.

  • False or incomplete information provided by the family regarding composition, assets, or income.

The Fund stressed that the purpose of TSA is to provide support for vulnerable families in need, and therefore accurate reporting of household conditions is essential.
