Mutvaly Shikhlinski is currently being held for 48 hours under Article 91 of the Russian Criminal Code, which allows temporary detention without formal charges. His apartment is expected to be searched, and a court hearing will follow to determine further legal action.

Meanwhile, Shakhin Shikhlinski remains at large. Russian authorities have reportedly opened a criminal case against him in Moscow, though details of the charges remain undisclosed.

The case has drawn attention due to the Shikhlinski family’s high-profile status in the Azerbaijani community across the Urals.
