SOCAR Inaugurates First Branded Fuel Station in Ganja

Ganja, July 24 — The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has officially launched its first branded fuel station in the city of Ganja, marking another step in the company’s nationwide expansion.

The new station, located in the village of Kushkara on Zafar Street, was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by representatives and executives from SOCAR Petroleum CJSC. Officials highlighted recent developments and outlined future objectives, while extending best wishes to newly hired staff.

In line with national policy aimed at boosting employment and improving the population’s social welfare, the opening of the station has created 24 new jobs.

Strategically positioned along one of Ganja’s busiest transit routes, the station is designed to meet the needs of high daily traffic. It features five fuel dispensers and offers a range of products including AI-92, AI-95 Premium, AI-98 Super gasoline, and diesel. Additionally, a charging point for electric vehicles has been installed to accommodate the growing number of EV users.

With this latest addition, the total number of SOCAR-branded fuel stations operating across Azerbaijan has reached 71. The company also operates 13 fuel depots nationwide, nine of which are located in the liberated economic regions of Karabakh and East Zangezur.
