The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the UAE-based ENOC Group have discussed potential cooperation across several areas of the energy sector, including exploration, production, digitalization, trading, and marketing.
According to SOCAR, the talks took place during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Hussain Lootah, Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of ENOC Group.
The sides reviewed prospects for expanding cooperation and highlighted the significance of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in November between SOCAR and Dragon Oil as an important step toward deepening partnership.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on collaboration in various segments of the energy industry, as well as other areas of mutual interest.
