Russia highly values the results of the bilateral meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, which took place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, according to Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
“We very highly appreciate the results of the bilateral meeting held between the two presidents in Dushanbe,” Peskov told reporters. “It was a very important meeting in terms of turning a new page in our bilateral relations.”
The talks between the Russian and Azerbaijani leaders focused on strengthening political dialogue, expanding economic cooperation, and advancing joint regional initiatives.
The Kremlin has described relations with Azerbaijan as “strategic and friendly,” emphasizing the countries’ close coordination on regional security, energy, and transportation projects.
