Qarabağ secured a 2–0 victory over Gabala in the sixth round of the Azerbaijan Premier League, extending their strong start to the season.
The match, played at the Azersun Arena, saw French midfielder Abdellah Zoubir open the scoring in the 16th minute. The result was sealed deep into stoppage time when Musa Gurbanli struck in the 90+3rd minute to double the lead.

With the win, the “Horsemen” moved to 10 points, while Gabala remain on four points after six rounds.
Elsewhere, Imishli and Zira played out a 1-1 draw in the opening match of the round. The sixth round will conclude on September 28.
