The prices of Chinese-made cars in Azerbaijan have shown a noticeable decline, despite the release of newer 2025 models.
According to auto market representatives, cited by KhazarTV, brand-new 2024 vehicles are now ₼1,000-2000 more expensive than the 2025 versions of the same make and configuration. In other words, even as model years advance, prices continue to fall.
Dealers attribute the price difference to several factors – primarily the diversity of models available in the Chinese automotive market.
Depending on the brand and configuration, the gap ranges from $200 to $1,000, while in some cases, the drop reaches ₼3,500–₼4,000.
Experts also point to seasonal logistics factors affecting transportation from China to Azerbaijan, which influence overall market prices and create variations across dealerships.
