In recent weeks, residents and guests of Baku have encountered an unpleasant surprise – a significant increase in prices at restaurants along the Caspian Sea coast. According to numerous visitor reviews, the cost of even the simplest dishes in coastal establishments now often exceeds similar offerings in the capital’s central restaurants.
Families planning a full day of seaside relaxation feel this problem particularly acutely. According to a conducted monitoring, a family of 3-4 people needs to spend at least 150 manats for a comfortable day in the village of Mardakan. This amount includes not only restaurant meals but also other unavoidable expenses.
Despite the overall trend of rising costs, careful consumers can still find more affordable options. However, on weekends, when the influx of holidaymakers peaks, the minimum expenses for a family seaside holiday will range from 100 to 150 manats.
