The price of Azeri Light (CIF), Azerbaijan’s flagship crude oil brand, has increased on global energy markets.
As of the latest trading session, a barrel of Azeri Light rose by $0.79, or 1.06%, reaching $75.49 per barrel. The previous closing price stood at $74.70.
This uptick comes amid broader volatility in global oil markets driven by geopolitical uncertainties and shifting supply dynamics.
The jump to $75.49/bbl reflects both seasonal demand strength and tightening production controls. Azeri Light’s quality and dependable pipeline logistics provide it with a premium—making it one of the most watched non-OPEC crudes.
Any future increase in Azeri supply, or a shift in OPEC+ strategy, could significantly influence regional economies and global crude benchmarks.
