BAKU, August 15 — Azerbaijan invested 2.075 billion manats in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions from January to June 2025, the State Statistics Committee reported. Nearly the entire amount — 2.038 billion manats — went toward construction and installation works.
The Karabakh Economic Region received 857.9 million manats, with 835.1 million directed to construction. The East Zangazur Economic Region saw 1.217 billion manats in investments, of which 1.203 billion funded construction projects.
Officials say the funds are part of an accelerated post-liberation rebuilding drive, covering roads, housing, utilities, and smart village developments to support the return of displaced residents.
