The state program for educating Azerbaijani citizens abroad is showing positive results. More than 130 graduates from prestigious foreign universities have already returned to their homeland and are successfully employed.
According to Report, Turan Topalova, head of the State Program Management Group, made this statement to journalists.
“To date, 351 Azerbaijani citizens have successfully completed their studies at foreign universities under the state program. More than 130 of them are already employed in various sectors of the country’s economy,” said Topalova.
It is worth recalling that the State Program for Educating Azerbaijani Citizens Abroad was initiated in 2007 with the goal of training highly qualified personnel for priority sectors of the country’s economy. The program covers full funding for education at leading universities around the world, followed by the return of specialists to work in their homeland.
