Order of “Glory”: BP’s Jones Recognized by President Aliyev

President Ilham Aliyev has awarded BP’s regional president for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye, Gary (Robert Gary) Jones, the Order of “Shohrat” (“Glory”), recognizing his “special services” to the development of Azerbaijan’s oil industry, according to a presidential decree reported by Report.

Jones leads BP’s operations across the South Caucasus region. The honor is among Azerbaijan’s highest state awards for notable contributions to the nation’s economy and public life.
