BAKU, July 19 — Azerbaijani football club Neftçi Baku continues its active search for reinforcements during the summer transfer window, narrowing its focus to a key target.
According to Sportinfo, while the club is considering a broad list of players offered on the market, head coach Samir Abbasov has a much shorter list of personal preferences.
One name has already emerged at the top of that list: 28-year-old central defender Kennedy Boateng, currently playing for Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest.
