Azerbaijani MP Fazil Mustafa suggested establishing a new state body – the Ministry of Problem Solving – to better coordinate responses to citizens’ needs and reduce bureaucratic delays.

Speaking at today’s session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan), Mustafa said many citizens still struggle to navigate multiple ministries and committees when trying to resolve even simple issues.

“I have previously proposed creating a separate ministry – a Ministry of Problem Solving,” he said. “Because we see how much time citizens waste moving in circles between different ministries and state committees, as if in a sky dance.”

The MP noted that the creation of the ASAN Service model at the initiative of the President had already become a major success in improving public satisfaction and cutting corruption:

“ASAN has become a mechanism ensuring the highest level of citizen satisfaction. It freed people from corruption and eliminated long waiting times for simple procedures. Even though AYNA also consists of four letters, ASAN Service remains far ahead in terms of public approval,” Mustafa added.
