A comprehensive analysis of job postings in Azerbaijan for 2025 has revealed the main trends shaping the national labor market.
The study was conducted by the National Observatory on Labor Market and Social Protection Issues, under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
According to the report, the most advertised job sectors include wholesale and retail trade, finance and insurance, manufacturing and construction, as well as hospitality and public catering. These industries form the backbone of current employment demand in the country.
Among companies contributing most to job creation are banks (8.2%), construction and installation firms (6.9%), hotels (4.9%), and educational and training institutions (4.7%).
Most Needed Professionals
The positions most frequently sought by employers include:
Sales representatives – 8%
Accountants – 6.6%
Procurement and supply specialists – 3.2%
Additionally, the most in-demand independent trades are drivers, chefs, and electricians.
Out of 264 registered job categories, only 26.3% of vacancies listed specific salary information. Among these:
Average monthly salary: 965 manats
Median salary: 800 manats
Most common salary range: 601-1000 manats
The highest average salaries were recorded in ICT, engineering, programming, architecture, and project management sectors.
The report also highlighted that, based on 2025 trends, employers most value soft skills, particularly communication abilities, which remain a key advantage in the job market.
