MOSCOW, July 24, 2025 – American confectionery giant Mars will no longer have its products sold in Russia, according to a report from RBC.ru.
The decision follows the suspension of deliveries of popular Mars brands—including Snickers, Mars, Bounty, Milky Way, Twix, M&M’s, and Skittles—by the Russian retail conglomerate X5 Group. Additionally, gum products such as Orbit and Eclipse will also be affected.
According to the report, the move comes in response to what X5 Group described as “excessively inflated prices” imposed by Mars’s Russian subsidiary.
Mars has acknowledged the situation and stated that it is working toward a possible resolution to restore the supply chain.
