Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan announced that his political team will take part in the 2026 parliamentary elections.
As reported by Report citing Armenian media, Kocharyan made the statement during a press conference, emphasizing that the 2021 elections demonstrated his continued influence and ability to consolidate part of the electorate.
“I believe the 2021 elections showed that I retain a certain level of influence and the capacity to unite a segment of voters,” Kocharyan said.

He added that recent sociological surveys indicate his team would receive more votes than any other political force’s candidate should they participate in the upcoming elections.
