The trial of kickboxer Tulin Alekberova, accused of hooliganism, has concluded.
According to Qafqainfo, the Narimanov District Court issued a verdict on the final hearing of the case, where the athlete was found guilty of inflicting bodily harm on a woman during a conflict at a café in the capital. Based on the victim’s complaint, Alekberova was held criminally responsible.
The athlete faced up to two years of imprisonment for the offense, but the sentence was mitigated due to extenuating circumstances.
The court imposed a sentence of freedom restriction (electronic bracelet) for 6 months. She is required to monitor the functioning of the device and comply with other regulations.
