Is Azercell Facing Network Issues? The Company Responds

Amid growing complaints from users across Azerbaijan about mobile service interruptions, questions have emerged over the stability of Azercell Telekom’s network. Users reported dropped calls and sudden signal loss during conversations, prompting Oxu.Az to reach out to the mobile operator for clarification.

In a response to the inquiry, Azercell Telekom stated that no large-scale complaints have been received regarding network performance.

“The company is actively working to strengthen and optimize its network infrastructure nationwide in order to ensure high-quality and reliable mobile communication services,” the company noted.

Azercell emphasized that regular functional tests are conducted on base stations, and technical indicators such as voice quality and data transfer speeds are constantly monitored. Based on these statistics, technical upgrades are implemented to improve service continuity and performance.

“Should individual users face any network issues, we encourage them to contact Azercell’s Customer Services — either by visiting one of our service centers or by calling our 24/7 Call Center,” the statement added.

Azercell reaffirmed its commitment to improving user experience and maintaining the highest quality standards in mobile communication.

Despite the company’s assurances, Oxu.Az has continued to receive a noticeable volume of complaints from subscribers across different regions. Many claim that network disruptions have become more frequent in recent weeks:

“The connection drops completely during calls, or the signal suddenly weakens,” one user reported.

Further inquiries have been sent to the relevant authorities and telecom operators for additional comment as the situation develops.
