TEHRAN, July 19 — Senior commanders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have declared their forces are fully prepared to restart military operations against Israel at a moment’s notice, despite a fragile ceasefire reached after a 12-day conflict.
According to Newsweek, citing the Telegram channel Free Iran, tensions remain high in the region. Iranian officials have warned that any Israeli provocation or attack will be met with immediate retaliation.
Mohammad Pakpour, the newly appointed commander of the IRGC Ground Forces, issued a sharp warning:
“Our forces are fully prepared to resume the war from exactly where it was paused.”
The statement underscores the volatility of the post-ceasefire environment and the risk of renewed hostilities in the region.
