SHUSHA, July 19 — Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev says he does not currently use artificial intelligence himself, but believes it’s only a matter of time.
Speaking at the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, Aliyev noted that while he hasn’t personally adopted AI tools, some of his family members have. “They sometimes inform me about it. Most likely, I will start using it eventually,” he said.
The president acknowledged the rapid global spread of AI technology, emphasizing that it’s crucial for these tools not to lead people away from core human values.
“What matters most is that artificial intelligence does not distance us from the principles we already know,” he added.
The forum brought together media professionals, tech experts, and government officials for discussions on digital transformation, information security, and the role of emerging technologies in shaping global narratives.
