BAKU, July 24, 2025 — President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended his condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin following the crash of an An-24 passenger aircraft in Russia’s Amur Region, which resulted in multiple fatalities.
In his message, President Aliyev wrote:
“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,
I am deeply saddened by the news of the tragic loss of life resulting from the crash of the An-24 passenger plane in the Amur Region.On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and personally, I extend my sincerest condolences to you, to the families, and to the loved ones of the victims.”
