The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has temporarily suspended the operations of Greentek Group following an unscheduled compliance inspection.
According to the CBA, the audit uncovered serious violations of financial regulations, including the improper opening of payment accounts and failures in preventing illegal online transactions conducted through the company’s digital platforms.
The regulator has ordered Greentek Group to halt all payment services under its license, except for the refund of funds to users of its payment services.
