Google remained the leading search engine in Azerbaijan this September, holding an 82.91% market share across all platforms – desktops, mobile devices, and tablets. According to a recent report by Statcounter cited by Report, Google’s share rose by 2.19 percentage points compared to August, but was still 4.71 points lower than in September 2024.
Yandex, the second most popular platform, showed a notable rise. Its share climbed to 14.64%, up 2.13 points month-on-month and 4.03 points year-on-year.
Bing ranked third with 1.41%, marking slight increases both monthly (+0.10 points) and annually (+0.34 points).
Yahoo maintained stability at 0.52%, though this figure represents a small 0.11-point increase year-on-year.
DuckDuckGo rounded out the top five, holding 0.46% of the market. The privacy-focused search engine slipped 0.12 points from August, but gained 0.22 points compared with last year.
