The German Embassy in Baku says German has become the second most widely learned foreign language in Azerbaijan, crediting this success to the dedication of local teachers.
According to the Embassy, this achievement is the result of the work of German-language instructors who not only teach the language, but also strengthen mutual understanding between Germany and Azerbaijan.
To mark their contribution, the Ambassador invited German teachers from Baku and various regions, along with representatives of the Azerbaijani Association of German Teachers, to a reception at his residence. The event featured an open discussion on the state of German-language education in the country, ideas for future development, and new areas for cooperation.
The Ambassador expressed sincere gratitude to the teachers for their role in deepening Germany–Azerbaijan cultural ties and emphasized that the Embassy looks forward to continued collaboration.
