Azerbaijani authorities have seized the assets and bank accounts of businessman Adnan Ahmadzada, who was recently detained by the State Security Service (SSS), according to official sources.
The asset freeze covers Ahmadzada’s apartment in Port Baku, his marketplace property, several newly purchased apartments in the Sea Breeze complex, as well as a fleet of luxury cars.

In addition, the bank accounts of Ahmadzada and his wife, Gulsafa Jafarova, have been blocked in Azerbaijani financial institutions.
Ahmadzada is facing charges of actions against the country’s economic security and large-scale embezzlement. The criminal case is being investigated by the State Security Service.
