Azerbaijan’s average monthly salary is forecast to rise more than 20 percent between 2026 and 2029, according to preliminary figures from the Ministry of Finance.
The government projects an average wage of 1,170.8 manats in 2026, climbing to 1,246.8 manats in 2027, 1,327.6 manats in 2028, and 1,411.8 manats in 2029. That would mark a 20.6 percent increase over four years.
Alongside wage growth, household income and expenditure are also expected to expand. In 2026, income is forecast at 97.4 billion manats and spending at 95.5 billion manats.
By 2029, those figures are projected to reach 123.2 billion and 120.6 billion manats, respectively.
The State Statistics Committee previously reported that in January–July 2025, the average nominal monthly salary of employed workers stood at 1,098.1 manats, up 9.5 percent compared with the same period a year earlier.
