Real estate experts say the best time to buy land in Azerbaijan is during the autumn and winter months, when demand typically drops and prices become more favorable.
According to KhazarTV, the slowdown is driven by seasonal factors – rainfall and snow in late autumn and winter make construction work more difficult, which in turn cools demand for land plots.
Real estate expert Elnur Farzaliyev explained that this cycle repeats each year: “Buyers are more active in spring and summer. But for those planning to build a private home, it’s actually more profitable to purchase land in the colder months, when market activity is low and prices dip,” he said.
Experts note that land prices can rise by up to 25% in summer compared to winter. The most rational approach, they suggest, is to buy land in autumn or winter and begin construction once the weather improves in spring or summer.
