BRUSSELS, Aug. 15 – The European Union’s Monitoring Mission in Armenia (EUMA) will continue its operations, with any potential changes to its mandate to be discussed between Yerevan and Brussels, EU foreign policy spokesperson Anita Hipper told Report.
“The mission’s mandate is to observe and report on the situation on the ground from the Armenian side of the Armenia–Azerbaijan border,” Hipper said, adding that the EU welcomed the initialing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia and urged both parties to sign and ratify it as soon as possible.
