The European Union has “paused” the provision of financial aid to Ukraine due to issues with the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP).
This was reported by the Ukrainian publication “Ekonomichna Pravda.”
“Everything has been put on hold until the situation is corrected,” the publication quoted a source.
It is noted that this concerns assistance under the ERA program (emergency lending from frozen Russian assets) amounting to €17.2 billion until the end of the year and €12.5 billion under the Ukraine Facility program.
