Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan says he plans to discuss fighter jet deliveries with U.S. President Donald Trump, pressing both the stalled F-35 program and ongoing F-16 cooperation.
In an interview with Fox News, Erdoğan recalled that during Trump’s previous term, the U.S. leader publicly acknowledged Turkey’s complaint: “He said Turkey had paid for the F-35s but had not received them. He said this in front of the press.”

“Now we are preparing to hold talks on this issue again,” Erdoğan continued.
“We expect the United States to do what is necessary – regarding both the F-35 and the F-16, their production, maintenance, and so on.”
