The summit will bring together heads of state from across the Turkic world to discuss deepening cooperation in areas such as security, transport, and economic integration.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan is also expected to visit Azerbaijan on a working trip to take part in the meetings on October 6–7. Earlier, it was announced that Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President Ersin Tatar of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will also attend the summit.

The Gabala meeting is expected to reaffirm the unity of the Turkic world at a time of increasing geopolitical complexity, with discussions likely to include energy connectivity, transport corridors, and coordinated approaches to regional challenges.

The OTS, which includes Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan as full members, continues to evolve as one of the most dynamic regional platforms linking Central Asia and the South Caucasus through shared cultural and strategic interests.
