From January to June this year, the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children’s Issues received 241 complaints related to domestic violence.
According to the response from the State Committee to a request by Report, 232 women, 30 men, and 181 children were victims of violence during the reporting period.
The report indicated that 172 complaints were related to physical violence, 53 to psychological violence, 11 to economic violence, and 5 to sexual violence.
56.4% of the complaints came from Baku, and 43.6% came from the regions.
