Azerbaijan forward Renat Dadashov has etched his name into the history of French football.
The striker scored the fastest goal ever conceded by the French national team – setting a record no player had touched in nearly a century.
French goalkeeper Luká Chevalier, making his debut for Les Bleus, entered the national team with an unfortunate milestone. The previous negative record dated back to 1935, when René Llense conceded a goal in the 4th minute. Dadashov needed only 3 minutes and 4 seconds to beat Chevalier, shattering the 90-year-old mark.
