Doctors stress that parents should pay special attention if a child’s condition worsens. Medical assistance is strongly advised if fever lasts longer than four to five days, or if symptoms such as loss of appetite, severe weakness, headaches, or intense body pain appear.

Healthcare specialists also warn against self-medication, particularly the use of antibiotics without a doctor’s prescription. Chickenpox is a viral illness, and antibiotics are ineffective against it. Such medications may only be prescribed by a physician in cases where complications develop.

The Ministry of Health stated that no widespread outbreak of chickenpox has been observed at this time. Authorities also noted that vaccination programs against measles continue nationwide, including both routine immunization and catch-up vaccinations for children and adults who previously missed scheduled doses.

According to official data, no recent measles cases have been recorded, and the overall epidemiological situation regarding infectious diseases in the country remains stable and under constant monitoring.
