Azerbaijan’s revenues from its main oil pipelines – including the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) export corridor – totaled 764.5 million manats in January–September 2025, a 3.6% decrease compared with the same period a year earlier, according to data from the State Statistics Committee reported by Report.
Losses in the oil-pipeline network reached 3.8 thousand tons, up 8.6% from the 3.5 thousand tons recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.
Overall oil throughput through Azerbaijan’s trunk pipelines amounted to 27.593 million tons, marking a 4.4% decline year-on-year. The BTC pipeline accounted for roughly 74.5% of total transported volumes.
Gas-Pipeline Revenues Rise Despite Higher Network Losses
Revenues from Azerbaijan’s main gas pipelines – including the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) – reached 2.071 billion manats, a 3.6% increase from the previous year.
Gas-network losses rose more sharply: 34.6 million cubic meters, up 16.9% from the January–September 2024 figure.
Despite the higher losses, overall gas transit volumes through the country reached 29.825 billion cubic meters, representing 0.9% growth. The SCP system carried 57.5% of all transported gas.
